How to diagnose your laptop in 5 simple steps.
- Step 1Pick the symptomChoose the card that best matches the problem: no power, broken screen, keyboard, battery, overheating, charging port, liquid spill, slow performance, or Other if none fit.
- Step 2Answer the follow-up questionsThe tool asks a few short questions about your symptom, for example whether the charging light comes on. Tap one answer per question and it moves on by itself.
- Step 3Add the laptop brand (optional)Type the brand and model, like Dell XPS 15 or MacBook Pro. This only adjusts the price range, because MacBook and some premium laptop parts cost more. You can skip it.

How does the laptop repair diagnosis tool work?
You pick the symptom that matches your laptop's problem and answer a few short questions about it. The tool scores the answers against a list of common faults and shows the most likely cause, how confident it is, a repair price range in rupees and the usual repair time. If the answers do not point clearly to one fault, it tells you that a technician needs to see the laptop.
Laptop on nahi ho raha, what should I check first?
Unplug the charger, hold the power button for 30 seconds, then plug in and try again. Check the charger light and try another charger of the same wattage if you can. If there is still no light, or the fan spins but the screen stays black, choose the 'Won't turn on' card in the tool to see the likely cause and a price range.
My laptop screen is black but the fan is running. What is wrong?
The laptop is getting power, so the fault is usually the screen, its backlight, the RAM or the graphics circuit. Shine a torch on the screen. If you faintly see the picture, the backlight is the problem. If an external monitor shows an image, the screen or cable is at fault. The tool asks exactly these questions.
How much does laptop repair cost in Lahore?
It depends on the fault and the model. Our tool's typical estimates are: a cracked screen PKR 12,000 to PKR 22,000, a worn battery PKR 4,500 to PKR 7,500, a keyboard PKR 4,000 to PKR 6,500 and a failed charging jack PKR 4,500 to PKR 8,500. MacBooks and premium laptops cost more. These are estimates, not quotes. You get a fixed price after the free check.
Is the price range a final quote?
No. It is an estimate for a typical case. The real price depends on your exact model, the part needed and what we find when we open the laptop. MacBooks and premium laptops cost more to repair, which is why the tool asks for the brand. You get a fixed price in writing on WhatsApp before any paid work begins. If we find a different fault when we open the laptop, we send an updated price first.
What if my laptop can't be repaired?
We tell you straight. After the free in-shop check we give you an honest go or no-go answer, including whether the repair makes sense compared with the laptop's used value. If repair is not worth it, we can quote a buy-back price for the laptop instead. You pay nothing for the diagnosis either way. The Repair or Replace calculator can also help you decide.
How long does a typical laptop repair take?
Simple parts repairs, such as a battery, keyboard, screen, charging port or fan, are often done the same day. Board-level work and liquid-damage recovery usually take several working days because the board must be tested after the repair. The tool shows a typical time for your result, and we confirm it when we check the laptop.
Do you offer a warranty on repairs?
Yes. Every repair comes with a 30-day check warranty. If the same fault comes back within 30 days of pickup, we look at it again at no charge. Ask us on WhatsApp about the warranty on any new part, such as a battery or SSD, before you pay.
Can I bring my laptop in person to NN Laptops?
Yes, walk-ins are welcome. We are at Shop 66A, 3rd Floor, Hafeez Center, Gulberg III, Lahore, open 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM, closed Sunday. If you live in another city, you can send the laptop by courier, such as TCS or Leopards. WhatsApp 0314 4000131 first so we can explain how to pack and send it.
